Rappaport Center Executive Director Featured in the BBJ

To look at her — all 5 feet of her on a good day — you would never know that Susan Prosnitz has gone head-to-head with some of Boston’s toughest police officers, has taken the lead in some of Boston’s thorniest police cases, and has been on the forefront of some of the most complex city and state public safety and policy issues.

Prosnitz is tough as nails, and a public servant to the core.

So it is hardly a stretch that Prosnitz is the first executive director of the Rappaport Center for Law and Public Service at Suffolk University Law School, which aims to bolster law and public policy and nurtures students who are committed to public service and pro bono legal work. The center started with a $5 million gift that came in 2006 from the Phyllis and Jerome Lyle Rappaport Foundation.
