HISTORY OF THE SWEDEN PROGRAM
Suffolk University has partnered with Lund University law faculty for the past 14 years to provide students with a world-class academic and cultural experience. Students work closely with peers and faculty from both the US and Sweden, broadening their understanding of the law from within a new legal framework.
Suffolk University Law School and the University of Lund Law Faculty have been collaborating together on a variety of legal education projects since 1999. Our two faculties have developed a very close and productive independent academic relationship. This relationship has allowed Suffolk University Law School to provide our students and faculty with a variety of mutually productive opportunities to interact throughout the school year.
We have created an exchange program that allows students at both institutions to spend a semester living and studying at the campus of the other. In addition, we have established academic scholarships which allow students from Suffolk University Law School to matriculate in the University of Lund Masters of European Law program and students from the University of Lund to attend Suffolk's LLM in Global Technology. Our two institutions have also created a very successful faculty exchange program.
