The Accelerated MBA Program for law school graduates is open to graduates
of ABA-approved law schools. Students in their final year of law school can apply
for provisional acceptance into this program, but acceptance is conditional on
proof of the student’s satisfactory completion of his or her Juris Doctor
(JD) or equivalent degree.
The program consists of 40 credit hours of MBA-level courses offered through
Suffolk University's Business School, the Sawyer Business School. Under this
program, law school graduates receive advanced placement credits based on their
previous law school coursework, reducing the MBA program by five courses. Students
in this program can complete their MBA on either a full-time or part-time basis.
Students with prior undergraduate or graduate-level business school coursework
may also be eligible for waivers or transfer credits in accordance with current
policies and subject to the usual requirements that a minimum of 31 credits be
satisfactorily completed in the Sawyer Business School. The Accelerated MBA for
Attorneys may be completed at Suffolk's main campus in Boston, and at off-site
locations in Franklin, North Andover, and West Barnstable, MA. It may also be
completed fully online. Click
