About the Series

The goal of the Brown Bag Luncheons is to establish a forum where local practitioners, alumni and current students may come together to informally discuss practice problems and recent developments in the law. The Brown Bag luncheons are intended to ease the transition from law school to practice. The series includes discussions on sophisticated topics, which are geared to experienced practitioners. Roundtable discussions may provide solutions to practice problems, as well as an opportunity to discuss new law and develop practice strategies. New attorneys will be able to ask experienced practitioners practice questions. Students will be able to learn about different areas of practice. The Brown Bag series will also create networking and referral opportunities for local attorneys and alumni. The Brown Bag Luncheons are a public interest service intended to expand the Suffolk community and provide an educational forum for members of the bar.
