ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
Complex Issues in Trying Drug & Gun Cases will equip participants with a step-by-step guide on how to try drug and gun cases in federal and state court. The conference will demystify the federal and state process by providing commentary from experienced litigators and judges. As an added bonus live demonstrations will be conducted and a panel will answer all questions.

Topics to be covered include how to conduct a federal detention hearing, how to handle special pre-trial issues, voir dire, motions in limine, how to cross examine, and how to make drug certifications or the absence thereof work for your client as set out by the Melendez-Diaz decision.

This program will benefit the experienced attorney, the new attorney, all attorneys in between who practice criminal law in state and federal court and judges.

Attend and Learn:

  • What questions to ask during voir dire
