INTERNATIONAL INTERNSHIPS: FEES &
DEADLINES
Fees for International Internships
- US $250 non-refundable Application Fee
made payable online and payable to Suffolk University upon completion of your online-Application.
- US $350 Placement Fee due upon Acceptance of the Offer of an Internship
from CILS, whether the Internship is for credit or not. The deposit is required 14 days following an offer and is non-refundable once the internship has been accepted. Payments are made at the Suffolk University Student Accounts website and Payment Type selected is "International LLM and Internship Fee". You will be given a separate Suffolk ID with which to make your payment.
- Upon receipt of the Placement Fee, students will receive a "Letter of Introduction" as official confirmation of their placement. Host law firms cannot certify the validity of the internship without this official document.
- Tuition shall be set at the SULS JD or LLM rate per credit. (Tuition for Summer 2009 was $1325 per academic credit). More information can be found at the SULS Law School Tuition site.
- All fees and tuition shall be paid prior to the internship.
NOTE: Tuition is due May 1, 2010 for ALL summer 2009 internships, regardless of your internship start date.
- Participants are responsible for travel costs to and from the internship and all other incidental expenses connected with their
travel and living abroad.

must be received by February 1st, preceding
the summer of the internship.
