BUSINESS LAW and FINANCIAL SERVICES CONCENTRATION: ENROLLMENT
Under revisions to the Concentration approved by the faculty in the fall of 2005, students may now pursue a Concentration certificate in two areas: Business Law OR Business Law and Financial Services. Specific elective course requirements for the Busniess Law and Financial Services certificate are noted in the Requirements section of this website.
Enrollment in the Business Law and Financial Services Concentration
is easily accomplished by filing a Business Law and Financial Services Concentration Enrollment Form with the Registrar's
Office. All students who have completed the first year of law school may enroll in the Concentration.
As described further in this site, completion of the
Business Law and Financial Services Concentration requires that students meet certain
requirements:
- They must enroll in a sufficient number of the
required, practicum and elective courses per semester so that it is possible
to complete the required twenty five (25) credits in approved Business Law and Financial
Services Concentration courses by the time of graduation;
- They
must periodically review their progress in attaining the requisite
grade point averages with the Concentration Faculty Director and/or
the Administrative Director of Academic Concentrations; and
-
They must complete the Concentration's legal writing requirement.
