COURSE DESCRIPTIONS


Entertainment Law
Ms. Sally Gaglini
2 credits day; 2 credits evening.

Requires satisfactory completion of take-home exam. Students may not submit a research paper in lieu of the exam.

This course is designed for students interested in transactional lawyering and the Music Business. Students will learn how to negotiate by using custom of the industry information of Management and Recording Agreements. Calibration of musician's royalties will be learned in detail as well as those federal and state laws interconnected with the Music Business.
