Pretrial Civil Litigation
Prof. Linda Sandstrom Simard, Mr. Michael Roitman

This course covers the pre-trial events of civil litigation from initial client interviews through the final pre-trial conference. The course will cover civil discovery including document requests, interrogatories and depositions. Pre-trial motions including motions to amend, to dismiss, for sanctions and for summary judgment will also be covered in this course. Students will prepare two legal Memoranda in support of pre-trial motions and will conduct a deposition.
