Selected Topics in Business Law

2 credits day; 2 credits evening.

This is a two credit directed study on selected topics in Business Law. Students may choose a topic within any area of business law so long as the topic is approved by Professor Vacco. In past years students have written on diverse topics that span from the organizational structure of the Catholic Church, the financial crisis in Greece, to the lack of a contract between the players association and the owners for the 2011 National Football League Season. Students may use this directed study to satisfy the Legal Writing Requirement as well as a course requirement for the Business Law concentration. Meetings with students to discuss papers will be both in person, at mutually convenient times, and virtual.
