Eve Brown joined Suffolk in June 2012 to direct Suffolk's Intellectual Property Clinic. From 2007-2012, she taught in the Department of Business Law and Ethics at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business, in both their undergraduate and MBA programs. While at Indiana University, she was awarded the Trustees Teaching Award, the Innovatative Teaching Award, and was named Kappa Alpha Theta Outstanding Professor and Student Choice Award Nominee. Eve has served as President of the Tri-State Academy of Legal Studies in Business, and is currently a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association, the Law and Society Association, the International Society for Scholarship on Teaching and Learning, and the Association for Law, Culture & the Humanities. Prior to teaching, Eve practiced as an attorney for the San Diego office of Ross, Dixon & Bell, LLP, where her pro bono work was honored with a Business Volunteers for the Arts award. Eve has also worked for the Affirmative Civil Enforcement Unit of the United States' Attorney's Office and as an extern for the Honorable Frank C. Damrell of the United States District Court in Sacramento, California. Eve's teaching and research interests are focused on intellectual property and entrepreneurship law.
