ADJUNCT LAW FACULTY

Laurie Martinelli is the Executive Director of Health Law Advocates, Inc. (HLA), a Massachusetts public interest law firm affiliated with Health Care For All, a statewide consumer advocacy organization. Ms. Martinelli has fifteen years of experience in public interest law. She has represented dozens of patients who have been denied access to health care, and has been involved in several class actions to restore health benefits to vulnerable persons in Massachusetts. Prior to her work with HLA, Ms. Martinelli was an activist attorney in the environmental/public health field. Ms. Martinelli is the Immediate Past President of the Massachusetts Public Health Association and continues to serve on its board. She is a graduate of the Washington College of Law at American University, and earned a Masters degree in Public Health from Harvard University.
