RESOURCE LINKS

For your convenience, the law library has compiled a list of core electronic resources that provides quick, easy access to a number of comprehensive, heavily-used resources. Access to some of these resources is restricted to the Suffolk Law School community or requires individual passwords (e.g., Westlaw, Lexis and Congressional Universe). Others, like GPO Access, Thomas and other federal and state web sites, provide a wealth of free, comprehensive information and full-text documents.

For free access to federal legislative information such as bills, committee reports, public and private laws, and the Congressional Record use Thomas or GPO Access. For free access to the Federal Register, Code of Federal Regulations, Weekly Compilation of Presidential Documents, the United States Code and many more government documents use GPO Access. For in-depth federal legislative history research, use Congressional Universe. The Massachusetts Materials link provides easy access to Massachusetts judicial, legislative, and executive branch documents as well as local government information and municipal codes.
