CLICKERS FOR CLASSROOM USE

Clicker information

TurningPoint is the student response system used at Suffolk Law School.  It integrates with Microsoft Powerpoint to create interactive presentations.  It allows instructors to collect, evaluate and record students’ responses instantly.

For Students

To register clickers go to: http://student.turningtechnologies.com/

Each Classroom within Sargent Hall is configured for a different ‘Clicker’ channel

To change your clicker channel:

  • Press and release the "CH" button or channel button.
  • While the light is flashing red and green, enter the 2 digit channel code.

      (i.e. channel 1 = 01, channel 21 = 21).

  • After the second digit is entered, Press and release the "CH" button or center button.
  • The light should flash green and the channel code will be displayed.

Quick Steps:
  • Create a Teacher Account and setup classes within the Instructor Web Registration utility site: http://instructor.turningtechnologies.com/login.aspx
  • Instruct students to purchase the Clickers response cards from the bookstore and register it.
  • Create Slideshow
  • Run TurningPoint in Class
    • Remind students to change clicker channel
    • Open TurningPoint
    • Open Presentation
    • Select Participant List (if using)
    • Reset Session
    • Run Presentation
    • Save Session
    • Generate Reports
